Partner Account Manager (PAM)

 

Regional IT software Distributor – representing technology and market leader solutions - is looking for a Partner Manager in order to manage its growing regional partner business.

As a Partner Account Manager you will be responsible to develop and manage Value Added Reseller (VAR) partner business in the designated region (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria) focused on generating incremental software license and service-related revenue.

Responsibilities also include generating interest in vendors’ platform by leveraging the partner ecosystem. For VAR partners the objective is to develop strategic relationships by creating joint business initiatives that leverage vendors’ solutions as a fundamental component of the VAR partner’s business. PAM will jointly develop sales strategies with VAR partners. PAM will be required to travel selectively to meet with VAR partners and sales teams to gain commitment to launch an initiative and ensure successful execution of the established programs.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a liaison between Distributor, the vendors and VAR partners and responsible for build, maintain and manage long-term relationships with current and prospective VAR partners.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for VAR partners, marshal vendors’ sales and technical resources to help VAR partners grow revenue.
  • Work with VAR partners to establish and track business goals and performance metrics, such as depth of sales pipeline and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate as a team player with the sales, commercial, presales and technology resources within Distributor and the given VAR partner.
  • Enable VAR partners to sell vendors’ licenses and services.
  • develop and build sales campaigns across all solutions with assigned VAR partners in the designated region.
  • Provide VAR partners with commercial and technical information on vendors’ products.
  • Jointly prepare or assures the quality of quotations, contracts (budget estimation, Sales Order, Order Form, etc.) with VAR partners on vendors’ licenses and services.
  • Convey and negotiate price and volume discounts within vendors’ guidelines.
  • Negotiate with vendors’ sales resources on quotations for VAR partners.
  • Administer VAR partners’ opportunities, deals in Distributor’s CRM.
  • Circumvent potential channel conflict.
  • Provide territory management activities such as: sales call reports, territory analysis, updating the sales and marketing database, timely sales forecast with territory insight.
  • Report highest priority action items, results, business plan development, marketing-related successes and accurate partner forecasts to Distributor’s CEO, vendors’ regional sales manager.
  • Develop actionable regional sales dashboards and reports in the required form or channel (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Manage time and travel expenses in accordance of the requirements of Distributor.

 

 

Your Qualifications

Must have

 

  • 4+ years of relevant Sales Operations or related experience in Software or High Tech organizations.
  • Independently manages progress toward agreed upon milestones and deliverables with a high degree of accountability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical value into business value.
  • Possesses software industry and cloud infrastructure knowledge.
  • Comfort building reports and dashboards within CRM.
  • Ability for traveling occasionally to Romania, Bulgaria. 
  • Analytical skill-set.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with cloud technology ecoysystem partners is a plus.
  • Advantage if you speak Romanian, Bulgarian
  • Understanding of network & system management solutions.

 

Role in the Team

  • Understand the Partners’ business and align the solutions to develop compelling ‘go to market’ propositions
  • Qualify new Partners and demonstrate ability to effectively communicate the value of the solution solutions to both C-level’ business leaders and ‘technical’ staff members
  • Develop Partners to become self-sufficient in the marketing of the jointly developed solutions

Marketing Manager

Regional IT software Distributor – representing technology and market leader solutions - is looking for a Marketing Manager in order to manage its growing regional partner business.

As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for running the marketing activities to increase new logo marketing qualified opportunities for our sales organization: from demand generation, field marketing and to digital marketing supporting the sales pipeline and achieving the revenue goals in Hungary. This is a highly collaborative role also working with Value Added Partners (VAR), Distributor’s Sales Team, Vendors’ marketing Team to ensure alignment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, execute and monitor marketing campaigns related to the solution and according to the marketing strategy.
  • Organize professional events (business breakfasts, conferences).
  • Monitor Vendors’ marketing activities.
  • Manage social media (LinkedIn, Facebook).
  • PR activities, produce printed and online materials, write professional articles.
  • Support Distributor’s sales activities.
  • Generate marketing qualified opportunities.
  • Manage databases, CRM, Marketing Automation and E-mail marketing activities.
  • Develop and update contents on the company websites, landing pages, social media pages.
  • Partner with VAR partners (mainly with their marketing colleagues), suppliers and agencies.
  • Assist in preparing VAR partners’ marketing plans, align these plans into a regional marketing plan, represent the regional plan to Vendors.
  • Work with VARs’ marketing team to track marketing goals.
  • Collaborate as a team player with the sales, commercial, presales and technology resources within Distributor and the given VAR partners.
  • Enable VAR partners to sell vendors’ licenses and services.

 

 

Your Qualifications

Must have

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of best practices in digital marketing: persona-centric demand generation, marketing automation, demand waterfall, pipeline acceleration, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
  • B2B and online campaign management experience.
  • Good communication and writing skills in Hungarian and English (fluent).
  • Good organizational skills, independence, customer-centric attitude.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office).
  • Creativity, high degree of autonomy.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Linkedin tools, Active Campaign (or other) email marketing software.
  • Excellent presentation skills and confidence in communication with senior level sales executives.

 

 

Nice to have

  • • Knowledge of graphics programs (Photoshop, Canva premium, Online Website Editor (Wix)
  • • Experience with an enterprise IT company.
